Ononderbroke kragtoevoer (UPS) is 'n stelseltoerusting wat die battery met die gasheerrekenaar verbind en die GS-krag omskakel na munisipale krag deur die omsetter en ander modulestroombane. Dit word hoofsaaklik gebruik om stabiele en ononderbroke kragtoevoer te verskaf vir 'n enkele rekenaar, rekenaarnetwerkstelsel of ander kragelektroniese toerusting soos solenoïdekleppe en druktransmitters.
Met die ontwikkeling van kragstelsels, soos kragtoevoer, frekwensie-stabilisering en so meer, word al hoe meer aandag daaraan gegee. Veral in die kragnetwerklyne is die kragtoevoerkwaliteit nie te hoog nie, anti-interferensietegnologie is agterlik, en die rekenaarstelsel se kragtoevoervereistes is relatief hoog, en die rol van UPS is meer voor die hand liggend.
